I have been looking after a Les Paul special P90 for a while.
Gibson is expensive in Europe and after seeing some reviews on Youtube that were all positive regarding Epiphone Les Paul Special TV Yellow so I decided to get one.

About $500 with Case from Thomann was great.

Have done a setup and played an hour.
This must be one of the best models Epiphone has manufactured the last few years, really nice guitar.

Way to go 63! If she plays and sounds as nice as she looks you've got a winner right there!

p.s. Hard shell case big bonus.
p.s.s. If I didn't already have too many guitars I would love to have one like that.

Epiphone makes some pretty good quality guitars actually. I have a 2016 Les Paul Custom PRO that I got on sale for $499, and it's worth every penny and then some.

@tce63 : that looks like a very sharp Epi LP. Nice color and I absolutely love the all-metal tuning machines.

I love Epiphone. I had a bad-ass Epiphone Les Paul standard that I foolishly sold. Right now, I'm seriously considering the Slash Epiphone: that guitar is super tight on the low end in a high gain amp and has sounds great with different types of distortion/gain/dirt. Epiphone one keeps going up!

I love the whole TV finish P 90 vibe.

I'm gradually being pulled to the Epiphone side.

Years ago and one of the many Gibson flips, were my Gibson Historic TV Special LPs.

They had certificates of authenticity and consecutive serial numbers..............but they had to go:

Ive been really wanting a TV yellow special and I was waiting on the gibson one to come out. Then when it released at like 2500 aud i was like nope. So im thinking about the epiphone, ive had about 4, mid 2000s epiphone LPs and a slash one that i loved before I got my studio, thinking it might be worth it. Is the main thing just the poly?

I don´t know about the Poly, but the guitar weight 3,1 kg. and is just awesome, have been playing it all day and it is great.

I also have a Gibson LP jr 2018, and the feeling of the Epiphone is about the same.

Love the P90:s in the Epiphone, just put the volume pot a little bit down.
