Awesome 57, good deal. I have the Epi custom shop 57 jr reissue also with the p100 and an PRS SE one. I'm ok with the p100 but may change it out down the road. The previous owner modded my SE1, changed the p90 and added a tone pot. It sounds fantastic through the Marshalls, it's a keeper. Back on about the 57, I really like the neck on that guitar. It's one of a few I have that didn't need a good setup out of the box.
It does if using the P90 as a standard. I think of it more of a humbucker for expectations. I had a 58 LP TV in the late 60s - early 70s. It sounded fantastic through my 73 super lead stack, maybe more so than my late 60s SG. I still kick myself for selling it.

Sadly, only the Casino remains.. (I love the Casino, don't get me wrong - but I should have kept the LP JR '57 RI, and the EB-0 SG Bass, as well...)
