Installed a new set of Dimarzio 36th anniversary humbuckers on my LP today.
    Very satisfied with the results.
Clear separation between strings when strumming chords and very responsive to pick attack.
Thanks very much to @MarshallDog for recommending them and hooking me up with his dealer who is awesome as well.

Dimarzio make good pups. I have a Jag with a 36 anniversary in the neck and a super distortion in the bridge. Sounds great

Out of curiosity, what were the pus that you took out - and were they the original stock pups?

The pickups I replaced were the stock burstbuckers, nice pickups but I just felt they were a bit muddy on the low end and wanted to try something different.

I to like DiMarzio pus, it’s the only aftermarket pu I ever use. That being said, I bought a very nice custom made guitar with Lindy Fralin pus in it and they are fantastic sounding. The LF pus have the largest range from clean to mean. In my LP I love the SD in the bridge and PAF in the neck. (Both from 1979)
