New Marshall Day!!

Finally broke down and got back into Marshall amps again, picked up a Origin 20 Head. So glad I got this model it sounds great. I plugged it into my oversized 1x12 with a Celestion V-Type in it and used my Friedman Golden Pearl and Smallbox OD to drive it for some heavy crunch and was thrilled at how well these pedals sound with the amp set mostly clean, the 3 position wattage control worked great the low mode was perfect for keeping it quiet... i'm digging this setup more than when I was using the DSL.

I will plug this one in tonight (2000 PRS McCarty) I'm sure it will also sound great it's a nice warm fat sounding guitar like the Les Paul.

was just using some Fenders as Pedal platform amps (Blues Juniors, Hot Rod Deluxe) then tried some modeling amps and gave the Quiilter Aviator Cub a shot. Tubes are still better to my ears and finally figured its time to just get a Marshall again.

I use the Buxom Boost on my ORI50H and the Smallbox with my 900 green channel.

I hear great things about the Golden Pearl.

The Golden Pearl is great for pushing a distorted amp or pedal, I use it to push the Smallbox OD a bit harder for higher gain. I will try and put a little clip together

Definitely lov'n mine right now, I hardly played with the EQ on the amp it just sounds good with my pedals.
