Had these for a few weeks now just now getting around to do a NGD post

1999 1960 Classic reissue ..i really like this one ! Has that LP weight that i like , its been played and i like the natural relic look so i didnt replace anything but the strings, oiled the fretboard and spray some deoxit in the pots...i left this one stock

No headstock repair..awesome

This is what you do when ya get 60...ya have to take a pic of measurements and look at them on the big 32" monitor ! lol

You had my attention at Les Paul's, as in plural. Happy Birthday for certain.

2016 Standard ...this one needed some help, that wiring module all scratchy fixed that , one of the Tuning pegs stripped ...replaced the set ,

Look at that Bridge..yuck ! So i put new Tone Pro locking stuff on , swapped out some rusty screws, replaced the nut with a bone nut

Happy birthday and dual NLPD!

Someone was either very good this year, or was just very naughty!

HNLPX2 day! I'm digging the top on the first. I sweat like crazy and destroyed the bridge on my 76 Deluxe. I did some work on it when I was getting buzz on the ADGBs.. Discovered it was the bridge that sagged under tension. It's been replaced a few times now with TonePros, they are the best IMHO.

Beautiful! I really love that first one!
I am surprised the amount of buckle rash. Not sure why people wear belts with shirt tucked. Especially when playi g a guitar!
But awesome flame on that one. I keep my 2016s clean and bridges look new.
Congrats!

It happens, after a few scratches it wasn't an issue ;) My 68 or 69 SG that was stolen long long ago got cracked on the front by the pots by an aloft cue ball taking a chunk out... Don't ask LOl..

I take care of the guitars now way more but once an injury appears than so be it..

Thanks Guys !

The 1960 Classic reissue has that mojo...plays great and sounds great with stock pickups...thats my fav

Mojo it has...wow what a nice piece of wood, ticks all the boxes

The 2016 Standard is a lot lighter and brighter..have to roll the tone down a bit on it but sounds very good...has all that push pull knobs stuff...maybe down the road ill put 50's wiring and some med output pickups in.....it does have a great top i will agree

The guy was in the Navy so im sure his brass buckle done that rash playing in his uniform....

Im a super strat player mainly but nothing beats a good ole Les paul thru a Marshall circuit ...!

Yep it happens. I just try not to let it. No buckles or jean buttons...
Don't wanna hijack the birthday guitar thread!

My one 16 has all the push pull. The direct bypass out is a very cool feature if you go cleanish to dirty and back in same song.
Again congrats and that 60 reissue especially is really hot.
