Just picked up this Class-5H and a couple of Les Pauls today. This is basically a new and never played C-5H.

I had a 2012 Class-5 Combo that I sold 5 years ago. Thought this would be worth another try. I have a 1x12 cab with a Greenback that will be my initial test. Store photo.

Welcome to the club. Fun little amps as long as you don't mistakenly think it will sound like a mini plexi/bluesbreaker.

I run mine through a 2x12.

I’ve got one of those in white/cream as a “special edition” model from Sam Ash.

It’s a fantastic amp but I think the combo is let down by the stock speaker a bit. I think one of these days I’m going to buy a pair of g10 greenbacks and throw one in this class 5 combo and the other in my SV20. Then I’ll make a wet/dry rig out of it or just gig the class 5 mixed up for small gigs

Having the head means you’ve got more options for getting the right speaker for the right application
