I just got a Schecter CR-6 and I'm finding some flaws. I need to figure out asap if these are "normal" or not, because the local GC is still open by me, but it will probably close any day because of the virus. Here's the fretboard. Is wenge supposed to have all these little cracks? They are all over the fretboard from top to bottom. I don't notice them when I play, but if I feel between the strings, you can definitely feel them, especially if you use your fingernails. The only 2 other guitars I have are a MIM Strat and an Epiphone Les Paul. Neither of them have these cracks. I live in Florida, if that matters. And then here's the little neck chip. It's hard to see exactly how big it is, but I don't think it's any deeper than it appears. Obviously it's not a problem, but is it something that could cause problems later?
