Hot off the UPS truck. Well not really, I've played it and done some adjustments. These things play and sound fantastic. Real robust quality, slightly heavy (chunky), better than a Fender - does not have that "toyish" feel. Neck is about the size of a Strat but seems harder and nicer.

Best of all is if you stay on "treble" it sounds nothing like a Strat. :woot: If you put it on "rhythm" it sounds like a Strat kinda, but probably better and more present as if the pickups suck in the sound a little harder. I never go away from the bridge hum as a player anyway.

It has 10's on it. that will need to change to 9.5's.

I love the amps, but have never even laid my eyes on one of the guitars IRL. I'm glad to hear that they are good axes. Congrats!

It says Friedman Classic+. It's medium output I'd say not sure the ohms resistance. Vintage bite twang chimey sounding, Id say. PAF'ish but hotter.

    Very nice score! Congratulations.
I have never played one but always wondered how good they were.

Grover and Dave build Friedman Guitars. Grover basically carries out Dave's vision
with Grover's guidance and historic knowledge. Each Freidman guitar is made-to-order.

Saying they are "licensed" Jacksons is not only completely false, but so is the idea that
Dave would have such a superficial business concept to merely "slap" his name on some
third party guitar templates that another company just doles out for him.

I'm waiting for you to get one so you can say " Friedman is killing both Gibson and Marshall at their own games at the same time!"

Is that one of the factory seconds they call "relics" or just very second hand?
