There are lots of these threads but be damned if I can find one... Had to put the new amp away so figured I would haul them all out and get some pics. The nice thing is I know you like your 4x12s and pretty well all of these would run through that and internal or at least the cab itself if the situation arises. Or one of the closed 2x12s on side, one on the other.
Come on tell us which one its your favorite? dont give us mombo jumbo! i know you have a favorite! I am surprise i dint see any dsl in you family! I just try one yesterday and sound it very different than the Tsl’s The clean channel felt total different i thought the they would be closer!
I have a few favorites. The JVM for versatoiity when I feel like hauling a head and cab . TSL as well, so easy to set, tonally great! 6101. The most compact 3 channel 100 watter out there! 2558 Jubilee. Mainly sentiment. Also sounds great! DSL is pointless for me. Once I got the 6101, the 40C was beyond redundant. The Crunch mode isnt crumchy enough so I always needed an OD, much like the 800s. 6101 kills em. Then I got the JVM. I have no need for a DSL at all.
Sweet collection! I'll contribute, if we're sharing... This is the current insanity over at my place: I also have a couple of big combo amps not pictured because they are packed up and ready to ship out because they are all for sale. Oh, and a Mesa Mark IV which the V has displaced. Haven't listed it for sale yet but probably will after I have time to record some comparison clips (spoiler alert, the Mark IV lead is marginally better but the V is better at everything else). Cheers
I should notenthey have all been gigged except the JMD - too new, haven't had a chance. Same with new SC20 Lead 12. Can't gig with it.
