    Dunno... but that's low-level-used-Gibson money

The Popa Chubby V was made from about 96 til 02....and not too plentiful. I had lined one up in 96 as an endorsement ,but my management at the time fckd it up
I spotted the one I have in '07 and didin't think twice about it ,as I had been lookin for the guitar for awhile

I believe they're listing in the 800-1k range these days ,on the "market"

I picked mine up the other day and plugged it in . I don't think Ive played it since 2017.Strings were rusty . Sounded / played great ! Why TF am I not playin this guitar ? ( V cases are a pain in the ass with all the other gear, thats why)
I honestly feel like it's a better guitar than a 70s Ibanez Rocket Roll Sr (going for 1500 to 2000 these days) I might have been the next "Rocket Roll" ....if not for Bonamassa's Korina reissue

I still have the orig pickups in it ....which is rare for me ,but they're that good

    And Yeah..Ive bought a Gibson USA V brand new w/OHSC for $389
But it was the 20th Century

I think the only "low level" Gibsons you're gonna get these days for 5 bills are faded /satin whatever . MAYBE if you shop hard ,you can get a 90's gloss finished SG or Studio , but it's been awhile
    ?
