This is it, me and my compulsion for 80s guitars. I got it without the pickups, it had Gibson pickups and it didn’t make any sense to me. As soon as I got home I’ll clean it, polish it and install new pickups.
Thanks man! I thought it was from the 80s, but after my inspection at home, it has the 90s headstock. so it's not from the 80s, but I can live with that LOL. As I bought with no pickups I put a SD Custom V that I had in the bridge, but I have no neck SD pickups available, so i put a schaller, paf style, and I'll procure a better pickup later. What are your suggestions? Some pics
Rick in your absence we had a very healthy discussion about 80s guitars... such a healthy discussion could lead one to a very serious G.A.S attack. https://www.marshallforum.com/threads/80s-guitars-addiction-who-else.117430/
@ricksdisconnected , about that ESP I use to kid saying that´s the ¨man´s version¨ of the Fender YJM. Scalloped, YJM Pickups and a lot of balls!
Now it´s over. Custom 5 + 59n! I have remembered where was the 59n I had, it was in the middle position in my LTD Stephen Carpenter SC500. Middle pickups are just there to fuck with my picking, I never use them. So there it goes the 59n to the carvin and the schaller in the middle of the SC500. The Schaller actually is PAF style bridge position and worked better than the 59 in the SC500.
