Got my Pro co, Keeley modded, The Rat2 (I think, lol) in the mail. I am loving it. It's a one trick (2 at most) pony but so far, dynamite. I've settled in on the Mighty Mouse mode, at least on the Mesa.

I have it hooked up to the Mesa Lonestar and it's definitely super crunchy. I use the mesa for day to day playing and the JCM 800 for recording. I plan on hooking it up to the Marshall soon to see what's what! Damn, heavy tone. I love it.

You will find it to be more than one trick, at least mine is, it goes from light OD to straght up fuzz. Congrats

That looks to be an old 91-2003 Big Box Rat Reissue not a current production Rat 2. The one you have is vintage correct (or atleast was) and worth far more money than the Rat 2. I never considered a Rat a 1 trick pony IMHO they are still one of the most versatile Boost/OD/Distortion/Fuzz pedals around. I would love to get my hands on a Big Box Rat but that baby would stay stock. Anyways congrats on the awesome score. I wouldn't waste your money on the Rattler at this point IMHO you already have the better pedal. :)

Thank you, Edgar. Good to know! I really am loving it big time. I got this one because I am a big fan and own some Keeley stuff already, including the Red Dirt and I'm not disappointed. It's excellent. Cheers!
