New Bass Day ! woo whoo !
Vintage Modified Precision in sunburst !
I will see if this old phone can take a decent pic .
No pics no NBD?
I know , my bad. Soon ! I have spent very little time with it . My woman drove about 30 miles to the next big town and picked it up yesterday when I was at work. I played it about 11:30 last night. I don't have a amp but I just play it for now through my line 6 pod. I got it for recording.
HNBD sounds as if you got a good deal, I have a Jackson bass but I am not much of a bassist
I forgot how to get the pic link on here ?
I got it.
I wanted a new Bass for Xmas....well prices have gone up...can't find a cheap one for under $200..still looking for a good used one....
Yeah , I was going to get the short scale for $149 but my woman wanted to go pic one up. She was going to get a pawn shop bass but the guy would not budge.
I like the look of the Kramer aluminum headstock.
I’ve had this one bass for 39 years....
1979 Fender Musicmaster Bass
I scored when I was able to trade for mine, we where working in Laguna beach and over the weekend someone threw a bunch of stuff in the dumpster, a drum set that the hardware looked as if it had set on the side of the house for years, but the true gem was a zildjian cymbal bag, inside was a crash, ride, and hi hat set of mid 80’s zildjian simmantors, that is what I traded for the bass, and a black, maple neck squire affiniti Strat!
Cool bass. Enjoy!!
I have owned a few Bass Guitars but my favorite one was a Hamer B12S.. Which I regrettably sold. Wish I had kept it.
I have a MIK Hamer 4 String bass that is similar and I like but not even close to the same sound as the B12S..
That is a sharp precision.. good deal. I don't play bass so I picked up a short scale squire jag bass cheap, $179, like this.
Oooooh... dUg style!!!!
Not the best pic or even that good looking of a Bass, but she sounds really good! My Washburn XB102...I play it through a Fender Super 6 Reverb and my 1960B
loaded with G12-80's or the two TL806's I made back in the day.
All good bass guitars , I kind of wish I would have bought one sooner. Bass is a lot cooler than I thought.
I recently became fixated on the Who and John Entwistle (Townsend as well ) I totally overlooked the great playing ability of this band . I guess their constant airplay and what seemed like cookie cutter songs kind of sent me the other direction but now I see I was wrong.
"PinBall Wizard" kicks ass but also "We won't get Fooled again "
Entwistle was the best, like no other!
I almost pulled the trigger on this baby the other day...for less than $200!
