Since tomorrow is Mother's Day and I will be busy with the tribe here, I thought I'd put this up now. Dedicated to all Mom's out there. None of us would be here without them. So, Happy Mother's Day to all you mother's and Happy Mutha's Day to all you Mutha's!

    Very nice JP.

I don't know what delay pedal you're using but you're using it like a musical instrument.
    That's a skill.

Over the last few weeks I was worrying about what delay pedal to buy to replace my failing pedal.
After listening to your clip I suppose any decent pedal is good enough.

It's late and I'm tired. That's my excuse.

Thank you tubes! The delay is the ubiquitous MXR Carbon Copy. I use the modulation button on this tune as it thickens up the sound. Thanks for the observation on using like an instrument. I set the delay time and tried to sync the lines I play with it. It does a better job of keeping time than I do but that was the goal.
You're probably right that any good pedal will work. This one just has the right "something" that this tune needed.
I have an old Boss DM-2 that I've had forever and will be using that for my next project which I think might be rockabilly influenced stuff.
We'll have to see how that pans out.

    Cheers JP,
I just bought a new Carbon Copy a couple of weeks ago.
My DD3 was playing up so I asked around here for recommendations for my new 'always on' delay.
    I chose the CC Bright.

Before ordering that one I did get distracted while looking at all the other cool delay pedals that are now available.

Yeah, there's a "veritable plethora" of them out there. I got mine used long before the bright version was out. But as soon as I plugged it in I knew it was a keeper.
DD3 is a great pedal as well but like everything else in life, nothing lasts forever.

Thanks!! I'd love to have a Princeton some day but other things are ahead of it in line.
