    Anyone got one of these?

I am in a situation that many others out there are experiencing.
I need to cut the volume and go for silent practice for the sake of neighbourly relations.
I do have VSTs but would prefer to use the amps and pedals I shelled out for instead of virtual.
Whenever I have gone direct from my 4CM GT-100 headphones it is better than the DSL40CR E/out, but it lacks something due to bypassing the power amp and cab.
The cab sims in the GT-100 are directly linked to the preamp emulations. I don't use the Boss preamps, so the cabs are off too.
My 4CM pedalboard is obviously the same, so I looked at cheap power amp/cab pedals and saw this.
I have searched the MF for opinions but there aren't many (calling @BanditPanda).

Would one of these be any good for headphone practice, or into my audio interface for silent recording?

There are loads of vids on YT but this is Mooers own:

Yes sky I have and use.
It is not expensive and imo does a really nice job.
Great selection of speaker/cab sims. You can find all it has to offer online of course.
For recording into my DAW I use it in conjunction with a few of their (Mooer) pre amp models. ( The RADAR does also power tube selection if you care to use it's power amp function)
As you know the RADAR has an ear phone out for silent practice too.
All in all an excellent investment and fun to use.

Cheers @Filipe Soares, but the price difference is massive (and not available until September).

    Radar £108
    Captor X £470

That is more than 4 times the cost of a RADAR!
The Captor X may be something to work towards once I get my head around IRs.

For home practice, and what will be the very definition of amateur recording, I think a Mooer Radar is now on my Radar.

Cheers @BanditPanda. It sounds like just the job.

isn't a cab simulator just a fancy EQ with different/saved settings?

The Radar is an Impulse Response loader with a Power amp sim and EQ (graph or para).
    30-ish editable memories I think.

Im curious about these for use playing with others. Hows the latency? low enough to be ignored?

May be something on YT about that. I haven't used it that way.

Nice purchase @FracStrat. I have a Tres 3.2 with the simpler (cheaper) MOD1 patchbay.
I don't think I could give up the 5 in/out jacks that I use for stereo 4CM (5CM?) and the remaining XLR is going to be Amp Control.

But the Nux Solid Studio is intriguing at the UK prices (£113).
