I can only guess that its because they have other amps covering similar territory. I had one and it was a great amp. I could get a very wide variety of sounds, great effects loop, fabulous reverb, BUT as with most Boogies, not a single Marshall trick in its bag! Notice That I "HAD" One!
There's been one on my local craigslist now for months that looks to be in perfect shape for 900 bucks. The person keeps re-listing it at the same price over and over. I have never played through one so I don't know how they sound. They are in the Dual Rectifier family I know that much.
