I have an MG 412 series cabinet and want to swap heads with a valve state VS100 H head. The mg head was a 100 watt as is the valve state. I assume the new head won’t cause any issues on the MG cabinet? Is there any other factors involved that could cause issues?

Won't be any issues as long as impedance matches.

Welcome to the forum Chris.

The only issue is that the connection to speaker needs to be a real speaker cable.
Using a guitar cable (guitar lead) to hook the speakers is not allowed.
