Huh, seemed like a lot of stuff you could find on a Craig'slist search. Or in my basement. Now if they were auctioning his talent and creativity, I'd be all in!

Keep in mind this is round 3 of his auctions. All the primo stuff went years ago.

That said- the R9, '66 JTM45, 69 SuperTrem (my fave) the Popular combo, those 70s and 80s 4 holers, and the Dual Showmans are all things I'd love to have- Gary owned or not.

Super Trem

This is the one I'd want most. Super Trems are my fave 100 watters, and it's also a live amp from my fave time period of his career-early to mid 80s. Probably his main amp from We Want Moore (one of my fave live albums of all time)

I had $38 burning a hole in my pocket, coulda bought a knob off one of his Marshalls!

Exactly, and who knows if he actually played all of them too.

Does it matter to collectors of this stuff, if the Rock Star actually played the gear they’re looking to buy,… or is it enough that the Star just owned it, even if he never played it, or even touched it?

The items are from his estate. I..e his family are going through the auction house- this is the third time they have done this.
