Is it me, or do the prices of Marshall Studio heads go up about 100 dollars every couple months??? When I bought mine about a year ago it was 1200 bucks.. As of today they are now 1600....

Holidays are coming, they jack the prices up so they can offer a 15% coupon towards your purchase. No savings what so ever but it makes them feel good like they're doing something for you.

Looks like they just jumped up by $300 in Canada (L&M). I bought mine for $1,500 a little over a year ago, now $1,800! Of course their supplier is out of stock and there are only two SC20H's available in all of Canada. :wow:

There is no reason to grease for this amp. Unless this forum is watched by Marshall that hasn't separated itself from the rest of the world's whores.

It's like you owe me bitch for playing our amp. Suck a deek!

No. Stripperz do. And tip extravagantly. I said so!

$1600 - $1800? Not in a million years. No way in hell are those things worth that kind of money. But there will always be a few that will pay the crazy price and keep the ball rolling. Now the people that want one but can't afford to spend stupid money to get one are screwed, very sad.

Totally agree! Old circuits repurposed, only design work was circuit layout and the power amp which is simple. I don't think they are worth more than 1200-1300 new.

My dream of owning anything JCM 800 related are over. The Studios are ridiculous. The JMPs are ludicrous. And the 2203x are obscene.

The answer is don't buy a fuckin brand name anything right now. The COVID "Supply Chain" Price-Gouge is egregious. I was looking at a guitar that was literally $1699 two years ago and it's 1949 now? Guess I'll bank my money and enjoy what I've got.

What’s really crazy to me is $1,800 for a combo with a single 10” speaker.

Oh I know they sound great, no question about that, it’s a perception thing I think.

I sold my SV20C at the beginning of the pandemic. I went to buy another and was surprised by the price hike of everything guitar related. I can’t believe MIM fenders are $700-$800 now
