Marshall Slash 2555SL Value? Demand?

Trying to find the value of a marshall slash 2555sl. I have one and may sell it. I want to be local in Cleveland Ohio though and not ship.

I see one for $5k which seems unreasonable. Another for $3900 with non og transformers. I imagine these will just go up in value so its hard to get rid of.

Reverb history of last ones sold.
Listing prices are sometimes just somebody's wet dream.
Depends on condition, and how bad someone else wants one right now.

I had two and sold them for $3500 CAD each last year if this can help , but prices went up since.

The Slash version won’t be worth what the 87 2555 is… or for that matter, the black tolex JCM Custom 2555 from 88/89. Even though they sound almost identical. 87 2555s go for 3K-4500 if clean.

Local, unless you find just the right person, you won't get near as much. All the online Slash fans will be willing to bid crazy prices. Sold mine years ago, don't regret it, but would definitely gotten more for it today. I wouldn't buy another, so no seller's remorse. I'd just say, be sure you won't miss it, before selling.

Price also has a lot to do with how many are on the market. If there are no listings on Rverb/cList/eBay then by default it will sell for more. supply/demand 101.
