I've sent email messages to Marshall support and they never get answered. WTF? No, not in my SPAM filter either. Marshall support apparently sucks.

It takes email a while to get to Asia and back.

No not in my experience. When I e mailed Marshall in the U.K. they e mailed back directing me to their local distributor in my area.
    Simple as that.
You want to order something or have a technical question?

Maybe if you asked your local music store for the company name of the Marshall distributor for your area and go thru them?
As I mentioned I ahd no problem getting a response from them.
Send another with " SECOND REQUEST " in the subject.

I would assume it matters what the Subject line is, and what you're inquiring about.

"Can I have a tousle of Jim Marshall's Hair" probably won't get much attention in the reply department.

EXACTLY what I did. We'll see if they respond today or tomorrow. I already left a message with the U.S. distributor, so hopefully I can get some support from them.

I've got to say though, over the years, Marshall has always gotten back to me. These last three years or so is when I started to notice they don't answer emails. I think this is about the 4th email in the past 3 years not replied to.

With the benefit of being in the UK. When I need to contact Marshall I phone them. They're prompt and helpful. I drop my amp off...they assess quickly, fix it when authorised and send it back. Extremely cost effective and you can get a tour too.

Harder to speak to support from outside UK. I admit I've had some terrible support from US companies. Dunlop are worth mentioning as being v good though

Interesting, Dave Friedman got back to me in a couple hours himself via e-mail and the good Dr Z answered the phone himself when I called and then we chatted a bit. Very nice guy I might add.

hmm. Friedman, a small company that's just starting to get some traction with production models. Versus, the most popular amp company in the World. I'm sure they have the same email traffic. :D

Dr. Z probably gets one a week. lol

Smaller company = less people. A bigger company should = more people  Good customer service is based on how good you take care of your customers NOT on how busy you are or how under staffed you are...period!

I emailed Marshall a few weeks ago, and had a reply within 12 hours.
