Marshall made these 4 x 12 cabs and 2 x 12 pa cabs along with 4 x 10 pa cabs and a very limited amount of 8 x 12 cabs for the Who and Small Faces

The Who's roadies threatened a mutiny over the pain of dealing with the huge 8x12 cabs, so they were returned to Marshall, cut in half, and the Marshall stack was born.

That makes me wonder, do any of the original 8x12s still exist, and if so, how many and where are they? I'd bet the Marshall Museum would be most likely to have one.

Some exist - the Marshall Museum in Germany has one.

I believe that the one on the left is original.
