Hi guys,
Anybody have any thoughts on the 1960ahw cabs? I have an opportunity to buy one at a great price. At this point my playing live days are over and I’m just playing at home. I currently have a bunch of old Marshall heads which I play with an old Park cab with g12-65 speakers and it’s heavenly. I want a cab to sit upstairs that I will be putting a superbass on and maybe a jmp50 2204 on, how would this cab fit the bill? I love the warmth and the chunk that comes from the g12-65 speakers. Being honest I’m mainly playing cleanish with abit of overdrive, never anything heavy at this point.

Cheers guys

It's hard to beat a Marshall 1960 cab. I'm not familiar with those speakers though.

These cabs look the business with metal handles etc and they look cool. I’m just worried that they might be a little harsh. Not t masses of info on these here

They have G12H greenback speakers which are 100dB (are your 65s 97dB ?) so it will be louder and maybe a little cleaner.
Assuming your 65s are guitar speakers they have a very much M Greenback sound and I generally associate them with the MV Marshall heads. The G12H with Page, Hendrix et al.
I actually have both and really prefer the original Hs in my cabs. The Heritage Hs do sound good when fully broken in,

Thanks for that. My 65s are guitar speakers not the bass. This cab that I’m looking at is from 2007 so in theory should be fully broken in?
