I had him in my life for 11 years. He saw me through school, college and University. He is an incredible loss to me and my family. Absolutely devastated. I think he was around 13 years old and all the time we had him he was spoilt with so much love and attention. It is so hard finding a way to say goodbye. Today has been so hard for me. I know others here have lost their furry companions and posted tributes, so here's mine. I loved him so much. Regards Ralph
Wow, I'm really sorry for your loss, FS … that can be really tough. I've probably shed more tears over pets than people in my life, so I know how you're feeling.
Ralph, the pain you're feeling I know all too well. I had to put my 20 year old cat Magic to sleep last February 16th. The hole that was ripped out of my heart is a pain I will feel for a very long time, such as you what you are feeling. If he was suffering, you did the right thing no matter how wrong it feels. All the best thoughts and prayers I send to you my friend. Words don't mean much but that's the best I can do.
A horrible day for you, I'll be in bits when any of mine have to go. You just have to tell yourself that He had a great life and loving home for the last 11 years....many dogs don't get that.
FS, so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Major. Many of us who have (or who have had) pets feel your pain and sorrow buddy. GB you and your family, and for your loss.
There are amps we love. And guitars. And music, trees, partners, wives or husbands..... Then there are dogs. Peace.

Sorry for your loss man, I feel your pain. Its not easy. We had 2 put to sleep in 2 years. They both were sick and suffering..with no hope of recovery. As pet owners we do what we have to do for our friends in the beginning and the end. Its hard. But we have to do the right thing for them...and show them love while they're with us. Ill never forget mine..again very sorry for your loss. You did the right thing..love til the end.
RIP Major, sucks losing a pet that's been a part of the family for so ling. Mine was put down on 11 June 2015 at 14 years after being run over. She was old, going blind and deaf. She decided that the shady spot near the orchard worker's car was a good spot for a snooze. And it was, until Mr. Workerman's day was up and he drove right over her.
It sucks no matter how you slice it. Being sad is part of it but remembering the good times makes it all better.
It is always hard when a member of our family goes. Stay strong my friend, and always remember the good times you had...
