    Not to sound sarcastic but do you know the difference between AC and DC, again not trying to be unhelpful then i think you are well out of your depth trying to do what you are doing. Us guys here are doing our best to help but sadly i think we all are making things ten times worse

    I thought it looked like the Center Tap was not connected to anything

    So what are your technical qualification in electronics??

    Well, that indeed was the problem!
    A sweet sounding Princeton was born!.. :dude:
    Thank you all for your quick & accurate advices!
    All seams to work fine, except from the tremolo circuit, I will look into it later on. Too busy playing the thing :cool:

    Good call, I'd assumed that the lugs on the stand off were all bridged
