Here's mine. Goes just almost 10 whole freedom inches. Your turn. Favorite neck profile as of right now, '58 Gib.
Sorry, no pic but about 9.5 inches. Don't really have a favorite profile. I tend to prefer a nut width of 1 5/8 but not set in stone by any means. The only thing I don't like: super thick necks.
6'-3", size 15 shoes, and my... ... hand is about 9-1/4", must be an Irish thing. I've heard it's not the length that matters, but what you can do with it. My Firebird has my favorite neck.
I got 9.5 mule skinnin inches on my left hand. Picture uploads have always been a struggle here. My R7 Goldtop's overall thickness combined with the flatter feel of my Flying V's fretboard I've always thought would be about right.
Gibson's 60s slim profile always felt pretty good to me but I ordered a Warmoth 59 roundback neck a couple of years ago and it feels perfect. It seems to me that the 60s profile is more D shaped and the 59 is more of a C shape, but I don't know if that's accurate, I've never done any measurements. Since I've been playing the '59 roundback for a while now the 60s slim feels awkward and I'm not sure if that's why.
All my Gibsons have about the same profile and they are very comfortable, but I need a 1-5/8” wide nut to be able to finger certain open chords. Looks like my span is about 9-3/4”. Cheers
I more prefer narrow and kind of thin to thick C or D profile necks with about 10-12 radius. Never really paid attention to numbers really, just feel. Not a fan of any super thin or flat profile necks like any of the Ibanez Wizard styles at all though. Instant hand cramps with those babies.
