Not a fan of the Demon full size, been there done that a few times.. Also not a fan of single coil size buckers. I've owned and used everything from Duncan barring the newer metal stuff. The only one I would shell out for again is the Brobucker (custom shop)

Which you can buy at Mojotone. When Marshall dumped the VM and stopped the Hendrix line, Celestion sold all their G12C stock to Mojotone.

Had a 2266 VM, they don't seem loud enough for a 50w, now have a 2466, much better (IMO). Paid $800, nearly perfect, black. Even with prices going up on everything, I wouldn't pay over $1000 for a mint 2466.

Yes, for a full size head, it didn't seem much louder, if any, than my smaller & lighter JTM45.

Don't know what they are going for in the US but, on Ebay UK, there are a couple of combos in the 300-450 range, a 2466 half stack for a grand and a rare 425B cab for 280 all GB Pounds, of course.

I was shocked how quiet the 50 was.I traded a tsl 60 for it that seemed about 3 times as loud. Might have been the speakers. I had the combo.
