    Being a proponent of Carvins, do you have a clue what the neck profile was on these ? I have not touched one since about 1981 .My hand ,and how a guitar felt to me at that point in time vs now, is a lot different

    Man, nice guitar but it looks really heavy to me. That's a lot of maple. I have an early Kramer Focus 2000 with a maple body and that thing is a boat anchor!

    Does sound really good though. Bright.

    I dont remember 'em being particurlarly heavy.......that being said, that era was all about "Mass = sustain"....it was crazy , tone suckin brass hardware n stuff

    A friend had one in '88. It was heavy, chunky, and very well made. Serious high quality.
