    Hi everyone,

    Here's my latest build, a JTM50
I used mostly NOS components, Marstran 128 OT, Classic Tone choke and Majestic made an outstanding PT for me.

Very nice! Curious what you think of ARS caps vs F&T or other?

Lovely build, great attention to detail borne out in the sound clips, sounds just like it should - fantastic!

@shakti I have ARS caps in my 50w 2 in 1. It could be mellower in plexi mode and I may upgrade it with Pihers (its an old build with mix of modern ccs and Xicons but NOS mustards). But most builds/restos seem to need settling in time with new filter caps regardless of F&T or ARS in my opinion I do Larry's reforming technique on all builds regardless, particularly (as Bill did with this work of art) when I use those 32/32 preamp caps.

Great looking build as always. Really loved the tone of the lead clip!

Thank you all for the kind words.

Here are two more videos :

Volume around 2, for a clean tone with a Les Paul

Back to lead settings with a Strat (8-9 on volume I) but played through an open 2x12 cab loaded with a pair of Fane A60 alnico

I really like ARS caps, I don't think F&T sound as good but I have not yet compared them in the same amp. They are the only two can caps I use. I wish ARS made a dual 32 axial cap...
