Just getting it finished up. Had to order a different bias dropping resistor so there’s an oddball resistor in place. Merren transformers, Mullard Blackburn and RFT glass, Philips mustard bias and cathode caps, Erie on the board, ARS filter. Piher and Allen Bradley resistors. Sounding wonderful and breaking in. I’ll post a video later.

Congratulations, great work! I wish Marshall would offer exactly this as reissue.

Was this an ordered kit you built or did you build from bottom up yourself?
I've been looking at different Marshall 50watt kits on the net, interested.
    Your amp looks great!

I built it. I wasn’t aware that you can get kit amps with nos mustard caps or nos Piher resistors. Merren transformers either.

Fantastic job, it is very quiet and sounds great.
Care to give any info on your guitar?

I built that from Precision Guitar Kits. I ordered it custom with the maple cap on top of the mahogany body. It’s got a bound 59 neck. I put a Seymour Duncan JB and it’s got 50’s wiring. I did all the finishing and glue up. It’s a fantastic guitar.

Here's what it does with solid state rectifier. 455 volts, Tung-Sol EL34B biased nearly 80% with the full pedalboard.
