    Hi

I've had a couple of JFX-1's in the past both times paired with a JMP-1 and VS120 power amp, with 1936 Cab. I've been using a Headrush pedal board recently but have been GASsing for a JMP1 and JFX1 combination again...

I bought a JFX-1 from eBay. It was a punt as there was no power supply, it looked pretty beaten up, the knobs on the data controls were missing and the power switch cap was broken.

    (It was going cheap)...

Anyway, I received the unit, waited for a replacement power supply to come through; changed the battery, cleaned it up and gave it a try...

    Well it works, sounds great...

I found some replacement rotary knobs on eBay, they're not great but they fit.

I cannot find a suitable push button switch cover anywhere. I've tried eBay, RS Components etc. I'm in the UK but don't mind ordering elsewhere as long as the postage isn't a killer.

I've added some photo's of the switch for reference.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from ?

    Thanks

Thanks, that’s the one, it’s out of stock but I’ll contact them.

The knobs look about right, they also had a switch cap that looked ok... I’ve ordered some and will see.

    Thanks

I had an email back from Marshall themselves, their part number for the switch cover is
    SWTP-00029
and their part number for the replacement knobs is
    KNOB-00008

I bought 2 switch covers and 4 knobs which costs me £13.81.

For reference their parts department phone number is 01908 272601

I'll update this when they and the other versions of the knobs arrive so I can compare.

    Thanks all

cool, that'd be great. Glad to hear Marshall still has the parts, as they probably haven't used them since the 1992 units.

It would be good to hear if the aftermarket ones work as well, if the Marshall ones aren't easily acquired. Here, in the States, getting parts like that isn't so easy. We can't order from Marshall direct. We can contact Marshall USA, then they steer us to a store. It ends up, Marshall has to send it to Marshall USA (KMD?), then they send it to the store, which then sends it to you, so, you end up paying for shipping 3 x's, plus markup, from each. So, it could easily take a month to get, if you can even get it...
