If you pass on it perhaps the seller would ship it over seas (USA) from Sweden although since it's for 240v we would need a separate transformer here in North America since I don't see a voltage selector. Still worth it
i have a 900 100 watt dr head and i love it. one of the best amps ive ever owned. mine was made in 1993.
I bet there's not many out there that look like that! That thing is in great shape! With that being said I don't think the 900 is a bad amp. As mentioned above the first 900's were closer to an 800 because you had the ability to take the diodes out of the circuit. I have one of those MK III 900's and really like it. It has EL34's in it as well. However it's stil not an 800. The 900 gets a lot of bashing but it's not a bad amp. A lot of people still use them. Tesla, Neil Geraldo (Pat Benatar) and John Fogerty all still employ the 900. The price is good I'd be tempted to buy it as a museum piece.
Unfortunately, we have not had a chance to a meeting yet. I have 500km. Easy way and we have had a hard time getting to it. The last thing we decided is that he should look at the transport options, when we reach agreement he sends the amp, If I am satisfied I have 24 hours to decide if i going to keep it or not, otherwise I will send it back. But with the information I received and pictures, it will most likely be a deal and i keep the amp.
