    Hi all,

Longtime MLP forum member, metal/hard rock hobbyist. 53y.o.

Regrettably sold a '79 JMP MV 100w head years ago. Just recently picked up a JCM900 DR 50w head and 2 1960 Vintage 4x12 cabs, love it. That brought me here.

Also have a Lead 12 5w tube conversion mini stack and three Phaez Hand wired PTP heads. One is a 12w Jubilee clone. Also a Joyo Zombie, Fender G-DEC & just picked up a Spark. 15 guitars....currently building a metal/rock style tele w/ a Floyd....

I play for fun, played in a band years ago. Motorcycle roadracing, supermoto and dirt fanatic. Love the outdoors, 4 wheeling, guns.....

*EDIT* Almost forgot I had a Marshall Artist 30 3203 30w hybrid head as well. I liked it. EL34 goodness.

    Welcome.
A lot of people here do not love those amps.
Don't listen to them. Enjoy your 900!
    That's what I do.

Welcome. I loved my JCM900 and miss it. My bucket list includes getting some land where I can buy another one and blast it as loud as I want without worrying about anyone getting upset. Someday...

USA Fender 22 fret Strat neck, body origin is unknown but it's a Mahogany/Purple Heart with a maple cap.

I have a couple black OFR's lying around already so I'm going with black hardware. Pickup is a Duncan JB, CTS pots.

I wanted to do black, but I have a bunch of black guitars already and I couldn't cover up that flame. I might try a black translucent stain. Someone else suggested wine red translucent to match the purple heart.

You can put some pearl in the lacquer clear coat . You can get it on eBay it is the stuff you put in candles and soap. Silica coloring that wood is to nice to just just paint over
