Here in UK they are good, if you have any questions no matter how dumb the questions they will answer and try to help you, if you use reputable shop.

Those things didn't come with OFRs for that kind of cash? Kind of looks like a cheapo JT580 on there and cut for it as well. The pic is very blurry though. All the USA ones I'm looking up back then look to have OFR's.

My only concern would be- WHY is it a case queen? That guitar is 20 years old. That bothers me. Great guitars get played.

I've had some early MIA Jacksons including a Rhoads. I'll take the Sandoval (or well done clone) anyday ^

Speaking of tremolo, I’m searching tremolo arm in satin silver and I cant find it anywhere. When my family got that guitar they left it behind and since then I cant find matching finish.

Everything has to be difficult for me lol

Actually, I am planning on asking him that when we meet. The last used guitar I bought, my 2013 Gibson SG Standard, was also a 'case queen'. It was owned by a collector who only played it once and then displayed it in his climate controlled enclosure after that. It still had all the original protective plastic and sticker on it. It looked brand new. It's a great guitar, and I play it regularly. Seems the only consequence of being unused is that the pickup selector switch on the SG needs to be cleaned with contact cleaner, which I am waiting for.

This (RR1) guy mentioned that he is selling all his gear, so I'm thinking that maybe he's a little older and has slowly drifted away from guitar? He had it set up at a shop 4 years ago and hasn't used it since then. Says he is a realtor, so maybe making lots of $$ has taken over his time. The cost of houses around here is just obscene, so he probably makes an absolute minimum of $20,000 on each house he sells.

Cool looking KS V copy. I like the traditional flying V design but not really a fan of polka dots. Why did they originally do that paint job?

    This is why :

Randy must have had a wicked sense of humor. There he was playing guitar for one of the founders of Heavy Metal, the "Prince of Darkness" himself, weilding a polka dot guitar.

    Bad ass in my book.

"just clip your balls" :wow: :ugh:

Thanks, that explains why I noticed the colored ball ends at the tuning keys in pics!

I was thinking if I don't end up getting this one, for whatever reason, I would probably check out a new Jackson from one of the other series, since the new USA models are unaffordable (for me at least).

The Japan models would be the next ones I'd look at, if this one doesn't work out.

Yeah I've only heard good things about Japan made guitars. The Japanese seem to be experts at taking US designs and matching or exceeding the quality.
