Is there difference between dating 1969 and 1970 Marshal amps

    Hello, thinking about purchase of Marshall amp PA20 with serial number 661XA, unfortunately I could not read the one letter, marked as X. Can you recognise year (1969 or 1970)? Many thanks!

    The amp have have an inspection sticker on the chassis to say for sure, but a number in the 6000 range is more likely to be 1970 than 1969

    You're missing a number not a letter. 1970 starts at around 4100A.
