Catalinbread have a real handle on the boost concept.

The Super Chili Picoso is the most beautiful and perfect stomp box I've ever encountered for clean-boosting 2203 type circuits. The one I have is quite old, probably a first run
They make a great treble booster too, the Naga Viper. Perfectl going into a VM 2466.

I also use the Maxon OD808 and OD9 quite often, mostly for recording solos and other parts that need that velvety mid boost. Volume cranked, drive at "0"

OFA Dark Horse klon-style OD makes a great boost for my 1987X Pandora modded beast. This amp doesn't need any help at all, but the pedal adds a little different character to the harmonics which is very sweet and pleasing.

I've got several other overdrives that I use as clean or semi-clean boosts too.

My name is Trelwheen Kerosene Jickateen, and I'm a boost addict.

Naga Viper clone I put together a while back. Jeds Peds sells the kits. $50.
Iv'e been thinking about swapping the mosfet for a germanium. Cool pedal
    and inexpensive.

I have an amp and cab addiction, too. So I play low volumes at home and swap out. Some Amps may need a little more boost than others, esp single power tube amps.

Guitars, however 5-6 to include the basics, shredder, USA Strat, USA Tele, Gibby and 2 PRS. I'm shy about guitars. Hard to develop a good relationship.

Love a good boost too! I use Vemuram Budi into an RR100.

    Kicks in around 2:25

Missing my amp; stuck in the city; amp on the farm :(

edit: here's another one just for fun, both very raw but some moments aren't all terrible :)

This is also a very nice boost pedal.
DAM pedals in my limited exposure to them, never seem to
    disappoint.

I know it looks like a joke. "Tonal Definition Booster". It's on my other board. I won't play without it. Gives super life to humbuckers. However, jacks are sensitive to breaking. It's probably similar to the Seymour Duncan pedal, which is good for single coils.

This Rocktron series AC/DC has the Hush Noise reduction pedal buried DEEEP somewhere within their sound system and refuse to remove it.

There is also the Heart Attack pedal from same series which is so pathetic, Musician's Friend refused to accept return and gave me refund.

Is there such a box that can do dual boosts that isn’t a multiFX pedal? I need one box with:

One box with one footswitch that,
    Controls two boost channels:
One channel for the front-end and another for the FX loop.
The one for the front-end would have a parametric EQ.

This would allow me to boost both the gain AND volume simultaneously, and also tweak the mids hitting the front end.

    This would be for soloing.

I cant stand that guy from JHS pedals, all i can think of when he talks is how over priced his pedals are.

They're probably very over priced. That's why I buy used.

He generously offers tremendous amounts of knowledge on Youtube and he promotes other pedals if he thinks they're better than his own.

11:30 he tells you to go out and buy his OWN pedals used.

Klon clone (J Rockett archer) is a great boost pedal. Gain low, volume to taste. Adds sparkle or lovely extra gain with a touch of a mid hump, but less pronounced and higher freq mids than a TS.

I used the mini spark for a while with my DSL40C & it was an always on pedal. When I got my 4212 I got the full spark. Crazy as it sounds I like the mini better.

    I'm the proud owner of D. A. M. Red Rooster serial # 25
I've an ever growing collection of treble boosters (I love them) , and this IMHO is the finest Ge treble booster I know . There are others, but this pedal is the one I'd sacrifice all others to keep..I dread to think what one of these cost today, but as D. A. M. we're a new company at that time my Red Rooster cost me £ 90.00 Perhaps the best £ 90.00 pounds I've ever spent.

I like the Lovepedal Church of Tone, Lil China and any Rangemaster clone...faves are my new Chris Vincent TB and my Monsterpiece MonsterDrive. Klone as a clean boost and a Lovepedal 4K Brown Deluxe dialed in as a cleanish boost...boosters are wonderful.
