Best belt knife on the planet, even today they come suicide sharp right out of the box.
You used to get them at Sears and they came with a lifetime replacement. If you broke the tip off using as a screwdriver, you just took it to any Sears store and swapped it out for a new one. Ah the good ole days!
Back to bb guns...this is the one I have. Great for pests like pigeons and squirrels.
Can you kill a chipmunk or even a squirrel with a BB gun, from say 30 or 40 feet at 350 FPS?
I had one of those when I was a kid, they are powerful!
Electric powered airsoft I keep seeing online, maybe that's what I'll get. An M4 would be cool
Single shot? Pump action or CO2?
It was a single shot Daisy CO2. Also had a Remington pump action rifle, very accurate and powerful. I live in the burbs now, don't need anything powerful just something to plink targets would be fun.
Just Darwin's theory at work.
If you are shooting these things off in your back yard, wouldn't you have a lot off BBs laying around waiting for your lawnmower?
Enjoy your freedoms. In Australia those things require a firearms license, which involves a post-school course, then a permit to acquire, then registration, and you can't use them in your backyard.
That's for the rifle version. The short version would require membership of a pistol club and a 320 lb safe to store it in.
Don't get me started on how ridiculous this all is.
I think I'd just rather not tawk about this no more.
For a BB gun? Wow
The same model is being pushed here in the states, one step at a time. I have a couple air guns, one select fire. Mostly 22, 9mm & 5.56 here, S&W, Glock, Colt, BCM & Aimpoint fanboy. Knives? Benchmade. Airguns are a hoot, illegal to fire in our city limits so they don't get much action at the house. If a ban comes, I'll sell all prior to avoid taking a loss.. lol.
I......... just got rid of all my guns. BB, pistols, rifles... water guns... I used to hoard them like a true gosh darned American woman. And knives too. I sold my Benchmade collection and it about made me cry. It could not be helped, sadly. A member of my household is on probation and can't be within 100 feet of an official weapon. Even my pocket knife was too big for her PO's standards. But you know what we CAN have? Kitchen knives the length of yours truly's arm. Yeah. Get that.
I've resorted to throwing rocks at squirrels. But my cat does a pretty good job clearing them out, anyways. And Chipmunks. They's good eatin for a clawed beast
No. They become seeds and grow into BB plants the following year. I thought you knew this already, it's fairly common knowledge. It's the pellets that don't grow back because those are made of lead. BB's are actually made of stainless steal meatloaf.
Can you have a slingblade?
I still fear that having BBs in your yard will turn your lawnmower into an automatic claymore machine.
Ok. Well I mean, I'll at least consider that, as I'm no expert. Thanks.
