I bought a new strat from American Music Supply, so now I got to wait. Luckily it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. Sucks, because I work and I won't be able to play it until I get home. Hopefully it gets in ok...

Don't you hate when you have to wait for a guitar you purchased...?

This always makes me think of that old commercial. "Anticipaaaaaaaaaaation, it's making me wait"

I hate waiting for anything.... no patience whatsoever. Guitars and amps are especially hard though. I hope it arrives safe, and it's everything you expect and more!

You have to wait a few days? LOL GTFO.

I waited 30 months all together for each of my Jackson CS builds over a period of several years.

I waited 6 months for each of my Fender CS builds over this last year.

No, but seriously, I agree. I hate waiting for stuff. I'm pretty much at the point now to where if I can't get something within 3 - 4 days, I get over whatever it is I want.

The worst is when something arrives, but you're at work. You have to wait all day, hoping some jack-off doesn't drive by your front porch, see it, and decide to take off with it. Even if that's not a worry, you still have to sit through the brutality of waiting at work, while what you're passion is sitting at home.

So I guess when you really think about it, waiting isn't the problem. Work is the problem... for making me wait to do the things I really want to do. lol

Ya I got it today! I'll post pics tomorrow. I had one of the worst days at work I've ever experienced. So, when I got home and seen everything came home in one piece, I nearly pee'd my pants in joy. I did pee though, not in my pants but I had to pee real bad when I got home from work.

Anyway, I played it for a good 2 hours or so. Tomorrow I'll post some pics when I'm done jamming on the ****er...

We've been waiting to hear about that weird Elcid NAD post that was directed at you for months now. Elcid seems to have made that post and then disappeared. That must have been one hell of an amp.

It was an NAD post he made about some amp that he bought at some obscure place in Chicago I believe. The thread title mentions you and apologizes. It was an interestingly weird thread.

Congrats. A Strat is a nice addition to anyones tone.

I was always a Les Paul guy while in a band but now I usually play my Fenders.

Love the rolled necks on American made Fender guitars.

I actually had a dream last night that I was going to order an Eleven Rack from Sweetwater, but I went to Guitar Center to buy it first, so I'd have one to play with while I waited for the other one to show up.

True story: I met Gary Hoey at an Eleven Rack workshop at Sweetwater a few weeks ago, and he was so excited about the deal they had on them that he said he was going to buy a second one so he could have one in the studio and one on the road. :applause:
