    It's an American Special..

I've played and owned so many Strat's. This one is really cool though. I like the bigger headstock, and I also like that they don't lay on the gloss on the neck as much as they do on the Standards...

I've been playing a lot of Standards and didn't like any of them, after playing some Specials and MIM's strats I decided to take a gamble with this guitar... I'm glad I did, I really like it so far!

    This is my current collection..

Nice guitar! I loved mine, but sold it when I got my Standard. I like the Fat 50s pups. The Texas specials are good also! Enjoy and Great color!

I really love the way the standards look and sound. I just didn't like any of the one's I tried, feel wise. I think it was the neck's on the Standard's..

Not too long ago actually. I modded it quite a bit. The neck pickup also has a single coil function. The Bigsby is pretty cool, it only really gets in the way of the control knobs, but I really like it..

Congrats. I wouldn't personally own a guitar in the evil colour, but I'm glad you like it.

That guitar has the Jumb Frets?

Loved the Jumb frets on a Highway One that I once owned.

    A Beautiful Guitar.

    Congrats.

Congrats, man. Nice guitar! I really like the standards too; I took a green scratch pad and smoothed out all that gloss on my neck ( I know, reduces the value, but it's SO much better to play now)

Nothing wrong with bonding with a Strat.

Nice axe. I have a 2010 Special in Olympic white with a rosewood fret board. I had to make multiple adjustment to the truss rod and saddles to get rid of fret buzz. She's good now. Not quite used to the jumbo frets but I do notice a difference on high bends. I love surf green but I won't buy a 2nd special to get it. Thinking a part-caster with rosewood neck to match the Jeff Beck sig model. Try lowering those TS pups for the sweet spot. Congrats.

Nice. I like that color. I mostly gravitate to my strats. I have three but only keep two out to play. I just upgraded one of them with some lollar dirty blondes and it is just awesome to play.

Love those 70's headstocks. About the only thing CBS did right. Congrats! :applause:
