    please dont.
i have a kramer (non bolt on) V. bought it for the tremolo.
cant set down and play the damn thing, and ive never heard the distinctive tone that
folks say V's have with any V ive heard or played.

When you sit with a V it can help to sit forward a bit in your chair and cradle the crotch of the V on your right leg. The lower leg of the V goes between your legs. It feels more like a classical guitar posture.

This still doesn’t work for everyone, I realize. It’s worth a try if you haven’t already.

My first one had the C22's, with a C22B in the bridge. I later swapped it, but for a Carvin M22SD and I LOVE that one. My ST-1 came with the Kiesel Lithiums. Not bad pickups, but I swapped the bridge for a Duncan JB, which I have on the Jackson's.

I've always used Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings in 9-42. I'll have to try the Dunlops.

Funny you mentioned Bad Cat. I bought a Hot Cat 30 head years ago when the boutique thing was starting to really hit hard and I absolutely hated that amp.

Which for me segues into something I don't get and never got. Cranking a Class A amplifier until it sounds like it's puking on itself. That loose, saggy, farty sound that most Class A amps make when cranked. It's nails on a chalkboard for me.

Another thing I don't get is Relic guitars.

I can appreciate a guitar that is legitimately road worn.

I have trouble playing sitting down with everything but I can see a V being more of a problem while seated. I just play everything standing up and no problems. :) I always loved the old 22 fret King V's W/Floyd (a Robbin Crosby Big Red would be tits) or a 58' style Flying V both like what Robbin Crosby of Rat played.

Vintage gear dealers that slammed 70's American gear and would not give the time of day to this era..................now, it's "find another".

I never poo poo'ed this decade's gear but never dismissed the value.

I guess PT Barnum lives with all products.

I'm not a fan of modelling.

High wattage amps are saying; "here I am"..........."I'm talking, do you hear me?"

While many of us were studying to be more proficient ,CBGB's alumni were mostly finger fumbling sloppy players that want us to believe they're artists.

Cookie Monster vocalists........it's like saying Gomez Addams is a train conductor.

Kid's that play at high gain concert volumes at music stores and want to impress others on how they stumble through SRV; Metallica & Guns & Roses tunes.

    As a 335 junky, I can understand.

335's & Tele's are special and I want all of them.
