and you can use 2 loopers then?
Two is just a good start.
I dont either...to modern sounding and they just dont have that Marshall creamy crunch mojo...hard to describe!
Sure beats the name Less...
Did you ever see average Joe or Eddie?
dont seem like a lot of you folks like modern marshall tones.
i would think that at some point the older tones would get boring
hearing over and over again. marshall has to keep up with the times
or they are gonna get left behind.
thank gawd. ive been called many things but thats one i hope to never hear.
im gonna throw in the rat pedal too.
was the tone decades ago but to me was a 1 trick.......um.......rat.
I still have my Rat, it does good stuff if you need it to.
Its the shared eq thats a bummer and the tone is too scooped for my liking.
Boss Heavy Metal - I have one that was thrown in on a trade. It sucks, even more when the knobs turned all the way up per Swedish Death Meatl.
Also ring modulators, envelope filters and the band ABBA.
the HM-2 for me is best used with a SS amp. peavey bandit was my choice.
not into death metal personally.
The moss covered three handled family gradunza always puzzled me.
That’s funny. I had a PV Special 150 that I used with an HM-2. It was used to play those specific tracks on Momentary Lapse of Reason. I used it for other things but it didn’t inspire.
And what a glorious Tube Screamer inside of the 2555X it is !
Yup, indeed ... and what? Get drunk and try the ABBA Singstar with some buddies. Great fun...
It’s a bit more like a Guv’nor considering it’s hard-clipping LEDs, but I get the point.
Macmull's headstock - Amazing guitars, uninspired headstock.
The Line6 DT25 is killer. I play mine as much as I play my Plexi clone.
Re: Floyds. Yes, they are complex and finicky setup for sure. BUT, the tuning stability is insane. Among my tele, strat, and les pauls...it is the only one that is in tune every single time I pick it up, and it survives furious dive bombs without a single tuning hitch. If anything, a tiny touch of the fine tuners is all it takes.
Re tuning...I agree with the exception of The Swords use of C tuning. Age of Winters is killer. No harmonic squeals, either
