Nope. In my case it's wee hair... Thus 2 100 and 2 50 watt amps. Plus to my discerning ear they sound better at any volume than small wattage amps and I've been through a pile.

Basically just Kemper, its foot controller, and a stereo power amp. The Kemper is also powered, but it's a mono amp.

I thought maybe a 1/4 w or less in to the headphones. I will try to get through the video for the context but…
I think the HX Stomp distorts the little speakers in mediocre headphones I have. I have some on ordered, they must be coming from Mars.
I ordered a 8x10 picture of UFO in their Heyday from Australia, it should be hear next month but still quicker.

I've seen this video. I've watched a lot of their stuff. One of the few i do watch. Both are good players and are more interesting than 99% of what's on tv.

Unless it was watching UGA smother Clemson Saturday night. That's good quality tv programming.

I never thought it could be true. But as it ended up. My pedalboard /pedals/cable combined. Cost more than my JTM45 w/1960BX With cases.

Not so much watts as Speakers . I recall , ONCE, being on a festival with my trusty Marshall 4010, a great compact amp, full of perfect Marshall tone .....BUT that day , it wasn't hittin on sh*t . If I would've had possibly one more speaker , it probably would be OK.
It's somethin I keep in mind when selecting what I take on the road . If I can take a 1965 cab , Im pretty much good to go ....with whatever amp I wanna pair it with .....indoor / outdoor Wed nite might be a 5w gig ...Thursday 20 .....Friday nite ,50

With 2 guitars , I find less is more . There's a thing where ,no matter what, the other guy is always louder ....so you're both always tryin to get louder .

Like what @Scumback Speakers said...lower watt amp out of a good cabinet can be perfectly glorious ! I love playing a Lead 12 thru a full stack, it's a favorite rig for rehearsing / recording at the house...you can sing over it ,no problem

I didnt know small low wattage amps could push a half or full stack?

So whats the minimum wattage that can make a half/full sound loud and full?

I thought I only had a wee winkie because I drive a truck?
I knew it was a rumor. The big amps are the reason.

You can drive a full stack just fine with one watt, but the fullness comes from having the headroom to sufficiently reproduce the lower frequencies-that comes from wattage.
