I have been a spicy food and hot sauce junkie since I was a young kid. I use most food as an excuse to apply hot sauce...lol
When I travel I try to find a local brand or at least something new. I probably have tried hundreds of hot sauces from around the world. I've found that I prefer the mid level hot sauces as compared the super hot stuff with habanero or hotter....I usually like the ones that have a lot of flavor along with a kick.

So please post some of you favorites.

Out of all that I have tried, I always go back to these:

My first and still a favorite..lol:[IMG]

    Little bit of sweet:[IMG]

I can't get enough of this...lol..I'd spray it in my eyes if it wouldn't blind me..haha[IMG]

And my all time favorite. I found this in Florida in the late 90s...hot, garlic, onion, salt, spice...gator hammock gator sauce. I put it on everything...eggs, tacos, hamburgers, steak, chicken, fries, cheese,...goes with just about everything

Anyone in this thread claiming they eat ghost pepper sauce or that blairs billion scoville crap must post a video of them putting it on their food and eating it. I call BS. Just a random pic off the internet won't cut it. :D

Sorry dogs! I rarely come into the backstage area and honestly didn't see that..... Lol

That said if you are a hot sauce fan, try Gator hammock Gator sauce! It's not too hot..... It has a kick but has a lot of spicy flavor. I'm very close to drinking it out of the bottle lol.

I do, and if I haven't I would. Couple things though: you can build up a tolerance to hot peppers, and also I never actually eat large amounts of the stuff. Excessively hot sauces are intended as additives to an otherwise already great sauce, marinade, chili, etc.

Hey, hey. I never claimed I use it like ketchup
This stuff is eaten with extreme care. And I would never eat a ghost pepper whole. No fĂșcking way man.

I hear you. When I eat hot sauce I do like to use it like ketchup, I really like the taste of the peppers, not just the heat. Habanero is the hottest I can go. That stuff would kill me. Lol

My dad used to make homemade hot sauce... It's basically vinegar, salt, crushed chili peppers and diced garlic.

    no worries...

    Just more discussion on it...

I like that ghost pepper sauce. Like the other guys said, use w/ caution, or more precisely, use common sense. I just want a salsa or sauce, that says "HOT" to actually be hot. Then I can use it judiciously. I like to use the hot stuff, maybe put a strip on my hashbrowns, then water it down w/ ketchup, or if I use it on my enchiladas, put a strip & cover it up w/ a med salsa...

I've bought &/or tried a lot of "hot" sauce/salsa & all it is is either tomatoes chopped up, or vinegar juice. Kind of sucks...

It's tough ordering hotwings. Sometimes "hot" means Alien blood, and sometimes you think they just forgot.

I find most hotwings, just have a summer's eve douched on them & are fatty baby drumsticks or wings...

What about boneless hotwings then? There's no messy waste with those.
After a box of regular hotwings though, I usually feel like I need a shower. You can make a real mess of yourself with those. :D

Try some of that AArdvark sauce, habanero flavor, not the heat!
