Rikk Morosini playing his Hopkins Ascension Modded Marshall. I am happy he digs the amp. David Hopkins...♫
Hi Mitch. As always thanks for listening and posting my friend. Pleases me to deviled what an individual wants. David
I can tell that amp sounds great even if the guy did cover it in a thick gooey layer of Mrs. Butterworth's delay Man, one day you'll be a famous amp builder, and the amps you're building now will skyrocket in value. Too bad, because I'm never selling mine. People coming over be like:. "Man, is that an early Hopkins Pandora?" I be like "Yep" They be like "I'll give you fitty grand for it" I be like "Suck my toe"
LMAO! You are talking about half of a 100 Grand candy bar right. lol I have no plans to start a business. I screen & help guys I know are certain of what they are after. No fame just give great guitarists amps I think they deserve without spending $4K-$5k! Thanks for the great words. There was some pouge troll on here earlier starting shit but as you see he and his low IQ grammatical retarded ramblings have been excommunicated. EDIT: Oops, spoke too soon. My first time in 10+ years using the ignore option. David
Thank you clutch. Though all of my mods are high gain, each has its own voice. Most players can hear it over media but with guitar in hand it becomes apparent. Thanks for listening. David
It has been a blessing to become your friend and watch your development in the amp mods. I remember picking up that 36watt amp at your house, that I had sent out for testing, and seeing one of your first amp builds. Seems like yesterday
I love your amps. To me the best part is they seem to have a ton of clarity yet a ton of dirt at the same time. It is hard to describe. I need to get the funds together and get one.
Thank you Terry. I could not have gotten here without you. Fortunate for me I have also made one of very few authentic friends I trust implicitly. Your mentoring has taught me to be logical, methodical & think outside of the box. Much respect, your friend & student, David
I don't have this mod but I have a 1987 and a 1959 with the Pandora mods and they are incredible. Clear, articulate and down right amazing. Both are two of the best sounding Marshalls that I own. I highly recommend sending David an amp to mod. You won't be disappointed.
Thank you El Gringo. I appreciate you taking time to listen & post. Hello Filipe Soares Thanks for the outstanding support & great words. David Thank you JacksonCharcelAddict You nailed the standard to which I judge my work by. The amp also has to make the guitar feel great in the hands as well. I never could bond with a stiff feeling over filtered amp. Thanks again. David
Hello Drinkingdeath01 Now that is quite an endorsement. This is exactly why I do this, to help guys find the tone that is difficult to just go out and buy. It also keeps me busy but when a player & I communicate I then know if I will try to help them out as I turn some guys away as they are not certain or want a Swiss Army kind of amp. I am always here to help you out. David
