..............& Happy Birthday
Gretsch G6136T-59 & Fender Vintera 1960 Stratocaster:
Very nice! Congratulations.
I wanted a Gretsch White Falcon for 51 years.
I worked an entire summer bagging groceries to get my Gibson ES 335 (which I still have).
I originally wanted a White Falcon but I'd have to work another 2 summers for it.
The bird is home.
Congratulations, both are beautiful.
Think I just creamed myself looking at that Gretsch
Thank you all.
As I said before, I'm a cork sniffer but I don't care where a guitar is made, as long as, it's made well and sounds good.
I bought them at the GC in East Brunswick, NJ.
I bundled them in a 48 month finance deal...............the Gretsch was used but the Vintera Strat had a 48 month deal that I was able to bundle both in the 48 month deal.
Two beautiful guitars man! Soooo @axe4me,....am I safe to assume that they are #105 and 106?
Congrats buddy, and enjoy in good health!
Congrats on 2 mighty fine instruments !
Killer! Congrats, here's a double cut in action.
Ya finally found one! Awesome! And that Strat looks sensational.
I wanted a White Falcon for decades.
Every year, Falcons grew more and more out of my financial reach.
I found a white and black one.
Both were used and expensive.
I waited and they were both sold.
The White Falcon that I bought was not listed as a White Falcon but as a G3136.
It was expensive too ($2499.00) and used in excellent condition.
I waited but not very long (3 weeks) and bought this beauty.
