Hello everyone, I've been reading these pages for a while and have decided to kick-off the new year by joining the forum. I've been playing guitar since I was 14 y.o, but focused my musicianship on singing throughout my professional music career, with a bit of guitar work thrown in for good measure. Being a career musician was now long ago, I have recently bought a bunch of gear with the intention of doing some more writing and home recording. I purchased my first valve amp (the JVM205H pictured as my avatar) a few months back and love some of the sounds I can pull from it. I am now experiencing an overwhelming buzzing-problem with my amp (probably created through my own ignorance about how to treat a valve amp) which I will post on the appropriate forum. Thanks in advance for any help I may receive in the remedy of this condition or others in the future, who knows, maybe I'll be able to help someone in-turn? Happy new year to all.
Welcome to the MF, I don't have a JVM but lots of MFer's do. I'm sure someone with some JVM smarts will jump in here soon.
To the forum You will find out that we are all a great helpful bunch, and you will get flooded with help. Enjoy the atmosphere and great folks here as we call each other MF’rs Cheers Mitch
Welcome . You can start off buy cleaning the tube sockets with contact cleaner . The amp is working so that is good it is not a big problem
