Hello everyone, Pete here from CT. here. Played guitar in metal bands in early '80's, wanted to recreate my old rig a few years ago so I did some trading and got a what I thought was a 50 watt plexi re-issue, 1960 slant cab a micro amp and still have my 40 year old wah, was heavily into Schenker. But now that I'm liquidating and trying to date my amp I did a bunch of searchng and my serial number doesn't fit any that I have seen. It is a MKII 4 input with toggles where it reads SERIAL NO RI/ then blank there is a white sticker P9 B12 M10 T1. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanx in advance

OK, that's not the serial #. The serial # usually goes here:

    upload_2019-11-18_2-44-34.png

I'd say it's definitely a re-issue. Just the fact that it has RI, after "serial no." indicates that it's not an original. What does the inspection tag on the inside of the chassis say? Post an image of that, if you would...

Hi Guys, well mystery solved. the serial is M-1999-24-2020-B. I didn't know there was a sticker on the chassis (thanx Dogs of Doom) the pic is attached. From what I can find on the web it's is a 1999 1987X, what would the M & B mean? Haven't fired it up in a while and I had the night off so I did. Which was a mistake how can I sell this it sounds so good! I did a quick check and had no idea what they were selling for. I switched to bass in 1987, but always had a guitar on hand, but got rid of all my good ones. All I have is a Les Paul copy. So now I'm gonna have to sell a few basses to buy a real Les Paul LOL, I guess this never whole gear thing never ends.
