I know I have it and will need to see a doctor. I'm constantly asking people to repeat themselves or don't hear them. People say I have the TV or my guitar too loud. The radio can sound like it is coming out of a tin can.

Hearing loss runs in my family. This sucks..

My ears have been ringing nonstop since 2013 and I thought my hearing was fine but the girl I'm seeing is always telling me to turn the volume down on the laptop when we're watching movies. and I still need the subtitles.

Its something we take for granted more than we should. Its awful when its genetic and inevitable, something you cant control. But its reckless when its avoidable and i am guilty as hell of it. Im 37 and i have many signs of hearing loss and still dont safeguard against it. Between construction work noises and cranking up amps to insane levels, its destined to happen

Yeah, I need subtitles too. Background music on a movie makes it hard for me to make out the dialog.

My tinnitus is insane but it's like my wife. It complains to me: "you never listen to me, do you?" LMAO. The few seconds here and there that I realize how bad it is I wonder how it doesn't drive me mad... and then I ignore it.

People do joke about it but protect your hearing! It isn't worth it when you get older.

The tinnitus drives me nuts sometimes.

It is at its worst when I’m tired.
