    One of the humblest, nicest guys around.
    Happy to natter to me about Janis, when we SHOULD have been talkin' about him...

    Damned if I can recall how it came about, but Country Joe McDonald called me on the telephone a couple of decades or three back and we chatted for half an hour. It wasn't until I put the phone down that it dawned on me - I had been speaking to a total, bona-fide legend. Made my day, wait, nope, made my year...

    Hope I look that good in ten years time :applause:
