Anyone aware of any decent online guitar trading marketplaces? I've got a couple guitars that I'd love to trade for something of relatively equal value, but I hate the idea of selling for wholesale and buying for retail, which would be the case if you find a nice used guitar in a store.

I've had pretty good results with Reverb.com. I've been getting decent prices for what I've sold there, including some that went for surprisingly good money.

I'm generally opposed to fakebook for all purposes. I won't contribute in any way to a platform that is NOT actually socially and politically neutral as a matter of policy.

Facebook is full of flakes. It’s insane. Reverb depends on where you live. Because the state taxes can literally kill a deal.

This is exactly the reason why I avoid Reverb.com as all the prices are inflated beyond reason . Facebook is weird as well .

post on whatever forums you are on w/ like-minded people...

    hint, hint...

Seriously, just put it out there. It doesn't cost anything. You don't have to accept offers & someone just might offer you something that interests you...

There are no more good places, simple as that. Reverb started as a good thing, but like everything else scumbags turned it into a cash cow and ruined that. Right off the bat they should not let businesses post there, make a separate one for them. (Same shit that ruined flee markets.) As for facebook, twitter and the rest of the commy dirt bags trying to filter any thoughts they don't agree with, I'd rather run a 300 WM through the center of my LP than use them. As my man Dogs said, try a forum your on of whatever your selling. This is another reason, especially today, to buy something you really want. Buy once cry once.

I can't wait until Reverb sees their day. I got booted due to my political affiliation. Reverb can rot in a bloody hell. :hippie:

Trading has always scared me on the Internet. The only thing I'd ever do is see what known members might have to trade-up. You stand a good chance of things working out, I think. If not, you can request that the mods assassinate them.

I got into an argument with another seller and he reported me. F-heads.

They shit-canned my account with 50 5 star transactions.
